BlurnsBall

It was Easter Eve when my friend (we will call him Chuck) and I were introduced to the sport known to the locals (we will call them Orphans) as "lede" (say: layday). The game begins when the player who is about to push the lede ball yells LEDE!, then the 3 or 4 players he is about to push the ball at respond LEDE!

Then he pushes the ball and then his teammates yell PULL!

And then the chaos begins.

This is "Blurns Bird" the day after the big match. He is displaying the blurnsbat, blurnsball and his fractured wrist - an injury he sustained when he was racing "Blurns Ruth" for a "themanini."

This will all be explained in detail when I am sitting in front of a computer again. To be continued...
